JUST IN: Abia Set To Host Over 3000 Youths On A Virtual International Youth Summit

Abia State Ministry of Youths and Sports Development is set to host over 3000 youths on a virtual conference in commemoration of the international day of the youth billed to hold on the 12th of August 2020.

 

The virtual conference which will hold via Zoom will have as topic “Youth Engagement For Global Action” with about 25 youths with experience outlined to speak during the conference.

Information reaching AFNEWS has it that the Wife of the Governor, HE Nkechi Ikpeazu will be presenting a brief speech to kick start the event on the said day.

 

While speaking to the Commissioner for Youth and Sport Development, Honorable Emeka Ikwuagwu, he revealed that the event will be the biggest ever virtual event in the south east of Nigeria and that the conference will also be highly impactful due to the capacity and caliber of people billed to speak.

He also posited that via the programme, a lot of youths will learn from the experience of other youths and will know how to start a fresh if necessary or how to move their lives to the next level.

 

“These 25 selected youths will on that day share their experiences, challenges, aspirations and motivations so that at the end of the 4hour online program, any depressed and discouraged youth will see reasons to live and hope again after hearing from fellow youths”.

Some of the prominent youths billed to speak during the event includes the following; Micheal Ugochukwu (Ruggedman), Samuel Chukwueze (Spain – Super Eagle Footballer), Bright Ejike (Igoyan Baba) and many others.
