JUBILATION IN AROCHUKWU AS APGA GUBERNATORIAL CANDIDATE DR. ALEX OTTI STORMED THE ANCIENT KINGDOM AMIDST FANFARE

The people of Arochukwu kingdom were thrown in an unprecedented jubilation when the gubernatorial Candidate of All Progressives Grand Alliance [APGA] candidate stormed the area.
Dr. Alex Otti and his entourage as well as party stalwarts were received by the Party’s candidate for Arochukwu State Constituency in the Abia House of Assembly Dr. Mike Ukoha as well as some stakeholders in the area at Arochukwu/Ohafia boundary, before taken off first to Ihechiowa, and Ututu Communities for a brief flag stop and thence to the main venue at the Civic centre at Arochukwu.

Speaking at the Palace of the Eze Aro of Arochukwu kingdom, Dr. Alex Otti told the royal fathers that his government will focus on rebuilding the State in order to stand the taste of time, and described the people of Arochukwu as receptive in nature.
He further urged them to continue to uphold the customs and tradition which the people are known for even as he explained that he will build a factory in Arochukwu so as to employ youths of the area, pointing out that when the youths are engaged meaningfully, it will deviate them from negative tendencies.

In their separate speeches at the Civic centre Arochukwu where Umu Aro both old and young were waiting eagerly to receive him, the APGA House Candidate for Arochukwu Constituency, Dr. Mike Ukoha as well as Dr. Otti who were overwhelmed with joy assured the mammoth crowd at the venue that if elected on March 9, 2019, he will fight for them at Umuahia and bring back their own share so as to develop the entire Local Government.

Dr. Ukoha who hinted that there was the need to elect him and Dr. Alex Otti so as to partner together for the overall development of the State, further explained that an Aro indigene has never occupied the post at the House which makes it imperative for him to be elected and call on the people to rally round them so as to achieve it.
In her speech at the event, a National Working Committee member of the Party, Barr. Mrs. Carol Okoroafor thanked Arochukwu people for coming out in their numbers to welcome Dr. Alex Otti and Dr. Mike Ukoha maintaining that the people will not regret the support for the two candidates.

Those who also spoke at the event include Dr. Alex otti’s campaign Deputy Director General for Abia North Mazi Nnanna Ngwu and Dr. Alex otti’s Campaign Coordinate Arochukwu L.G.A Mazi Nkem Okoro, as well as Chief Joe Ezearu amongst others.

Correspondent reports that at the event, youths of the community came out in their numbers with their popular samba drums to spice up the occasion, while Mazi Emma Nwadei gave a vote of thanks amidst jubilation.
