Governor Otti seized the opportunity to highlight his administration’s accomplishments and plans in Abia State. He underscored his government’s commitment to the welfare of citizens, including the timely payment of salaries, road construction, and the provision of rural infrastructure to enhance accessibility and economic growth.
“Leadership is about the welfare of the people. This is why we have prioritized paying salaries on or before the 28th of every month. We are also building roads and extending infrastructure to rural areas to ease the movement of goods and services,” Otti noted.
He further assured the Ohanaeze leadership of his government’s support, emphasizing that their success would translate to the collective progress of the Southeast.
Senator Mbata, in his remarks, expressed profound gratitude to Governor Otti and other Southeast governors for their invaluable support during the Ohanaeze elections. He acknowledged that their presence underscored the importance they place on the institution and its role in championing the aspirations of Ndigbo.
