Based on the information made available to Abia Facts News from the office of the permanent secretary and clerk of Abia State house of Assembly, Mr. Johnpedro Irokansi, the inauguration ceremony of the seventh Abia State House of Assembly formerly scheduled to hold on June 6th has been shifted to Tuesday, June 11, 2019.
The clerk also revealed that the valedictory session of the 6th assembly has likewise been scheduled to hold on June 3 2019.
No reason was stated for the change of date, however, he regretted the inconveniences the change could cause members of the public
The statement read, “We regret all the inconveniences, which may arise from the date of the 7th House inauguration.
“The new date is now Tuesday, June 11, 2019, while the venue of the ceremony remains the Assembly chambers, Oguruibe layout, Umuahia”.
