A 38-year-old musician identified as Roco Nnadiekwe alias JaRule, has died from a stray bullet hit during the Sunday shootout between unknown gunmen and military operatives in Orlu, Imo state.
Nnadiekwe, a graduate of Political Science from Alvan Ikoku Federal College of Education, Owerri, turned rapper was said to be hit in front of his house in Amaifeka community, during the duel.
He was said to have returned to the village from Port Harcourt, Rivers State last week to shoot a video of his first single; ‘Onye Na Way Ya, before his demise.
The Easter Sunday gun battle in Orlu and Orsu LGAs resulted to the burning of Inland Guest House popularly known as Ukwu Aki Guest House, and death of civilians.
