South East Caucus of the House of Representatives Pays Condolence Visit to Mrs Precious Ossy Prestige
Today, Wednesday February 10, 2021, the member representing Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency, Rt. Hon. Uko Nkole led members of the South East Caucus of the House of Representatives to condole with Mrs. Precious Ossy Prestige at their Abuja residence over the painful and unfortunate demise of her husband and their colleague, Late RT Hon. Ossy Chinedu Prestige whose sad event took place on February 7, 2021 after a protracted illness.
The South East caucus leader/Deputy Chief Whip of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Barr. Nkeiruka Onyejiocha while speaking on behalf of the caucus described as shocking and excruciating the passing away of their colleague adding that he will be sorely missed and remembered by his outstanding achievements and the legacies he left behind as the member, who represented the good people of Aba South/North Federal Constituency.
Nkeiruka further described Late Ossy Prestige as a consummate politician, prominent community leader and an accomplished federal lawmaker whose dedication to legislative duties, service to God and humanity positive contributions to the development of the country and his Constituency as a ranking member of the National Assembly will remain indelible on the sands of time.
“Late Hon. Ossy Prestige’s death was received with deep shock. He was our brother, a peacemaker and an experienced lawmaker whose remarkable contributions and dedication was enjoyed by all and sundry”.
Rt. Hon Nkeiruka on behalf of the South East Caucus prayed to God to grant his soul a peaceful rest and give the family the fortitude to bear the great loss.
In her response, the wife of the deceased, Mrs. Precious Ossy Prestige thanked the entire members of the South East Caucus of the House of Representatives for the condolence visit which she said demonstrates the love they have for her family and prayed God to grant them journey mercies as they return to their various destination.
