The rumour making round that Governor Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State is sick and bedridden has been debunked by his Chief Press Secretary, Barrister Onyebuchi Ememanka in a strong worded press statement sent to Abia Facts News.
Rumours has it that Governor Ikpeazu is sick and bed-ridden, which had allegedly impeded him from discharging his constitutional duties.
The purported sickness has generated many reactions from Abia residents.
But, according to the statement, “Governor of Abia State is hale and hearty, and discharging the duties of the office of Governor of Abia State with zeal, zest and passion, as he has done since 2015. The Governor had a busy schedule yesterday attending to a long line of official visitors who came to Government House Umuahia.
