#EndSARS: Abia Judicial Panel Calls For Petitions, Complaints, Memoranda, Releases contacts

CALL FOR SUBMISSION OF PETITIONS, COMPLAINTS AND MEMORANDA.

The Government of Abia State of Nigeria has instituted a judicial panel of inquiry on police brutality, extra judicial killings and other related matters from 2015 till date.

TERMS OF REFERENCE:

* To Investigate cases of extra judicial killings by police men and other security agents from 2015 to date,

* To Investigate all forms of police brutality, extortion and intimidation from 2015 to date,

*To ascertain the immediate and remote causes of the ENDSARS protest and other grievances associated to it.

* To Examine the root causes of the hijack of the peaceful ENDSARS protest by hoodlums.

*To Identify those involved as well as do all other things necessary to give effect to the terms of reference.

*To give recommendations to government on possible compensations to ascertained victims.

PROCEDURE:

Interested members of the public are requested to address and submit their petitions/memoranda TO

THE SECRETARY OF THE PANEL, OFFICE OF THE SOLICITOR GENERAL/PERMANENT SECRETARY MINISTRY OF JUSTICE, UMUAHIA.

Time of submission is 9am – 4pm , Mondays to Fridays
