The United Abia Artistes and Patriots Forum (UAAP) extends heartfelt birthday wishes to former Inspector General of Police, Dr. Mike Okiro, as he turns 75. In a celebratory message, UAAP highlights his immense contributions to Nigeria’s growth and security.

The United Abia Artistes and Patriots Forum (UAAP) has paid a glowing tribute to former Inspector General of Police (IGP) Dr. Mike Okiro on the occasion of his 75th birthday. In a press release signed by the President General, Ambassador Dr. Osita Offor “De Ultimate Commander,” and the Secretary General, Comrade Emenike Jason Iroegbu, UAAP extended their warmest wishes to the retired IGP, praying for his long life and continued prosperity. Born on July 24, 1949, in Oguta, Imo State, he embarked on a journey of service that spanned decades. He joined the Nigerian Police Force in 1977, steadily rising through the ranks due to his commitment, expertise, and integrity. His tenure as the Inspector General of Police from 2007 to 2009 was marked by significant reforms aimed at improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the police force.
