Dr. Iroemeha Christian Ike, Conferred Honorary PhD In Florida
Dr. Iroemeha Christian Ike has been conferred an honorary doctorate degree (PhD) in Leadership and Business (Honoris Causa) by the Advancement Christian University(ACU), Miami Florida in the United States of America (USA).
According to the Chancellor of ACU, Dr. Ikechukwu A. Nwambie, the University Governing council reached a decision to confer the honorary award on Ike owing to his “established leadership skills and Humanitarian activities”.
The Chancellor pointed out Ike’s uncommon ability to lead various National Socio-Cultural Organizations to some enviable heights in the United States of America and also in Nigeria, his exploits in the corporate world and also his leadership of many Humanitarian Medical Missions to Africa.
Speaking during the ceremony, Dr. Iroemeha Christian Ike, thanked the Chancellor and the Management of the Advancement Christian University, for finding him worthy for the award, adding that the award is a call on him to do more.
In his words
“When I got the award invitation and saw all the good qualities and reasons adduced in considering me for the award, I did some introspection, and I was happy to accept the award because it came from this great citadel of Learning, the Advancement Christian University and also because I did those things which they said that I did and even more! I am also very grateful to the University Management for recognizing my little efforts to make a difference in the world, this is a great encouragement and an invitation to do more, for whom more is given more is expected. I will do more”.
