Daddy Freeze, Jnr Pope Shades Yul Edochie Over Polygamy | READ DETAILS
Nollywood actor Yul Edochie’s defense on polygamy did not augur well with his colleague Jnr Pope and Daddy Freeze, an On Air Personality (OAP), as the duo independently voiced their opinions.
Yul Edochie had on Sunday said God asked him to marry a second wife (Judy Austin, his colleague) to give his son a proper identity. He argued that polygamy was endorsed by God in the holy bible adding that it is his destiny which comes with blessings. READ HERE
Reacting, Daddy Freeze affirmed that polygamy is scriptural he however faulted Edochie who did not get his first wife, May’s consent before marrying a second wife.
He wrote;
“My brother, there is nothing wrong with polygamy. It is scriptural like you noted . Abraham, David and Solomon were all polygamists. Polygamy cant stop you from being a man of God. However, the only issue is that May @mayyuledochie is not happy. Traditionally (with regards to Nigerian culture) and scripturally, the first wife must consent. May made it clear that she didn’t consent. This is my issue. Do have yourself a happy holiday”.
On his own part, Jnr Pope shared a photo with his wife and captioned it;
“ONE MAN ,ONE WIFE still remains the best ……Nothing can change that ………
