COVID-19: Abia Lawmaker, Ihechiowa Dev. Union sensitize town criers

Town Criers in Ihechiowa community, Arochukwu LGA, has been enlightened to reach out to the people and sensitize them on the preventive measures against coronavirus pandemic.

 

Speaking at Atan Ihechiowa, the member representing Arochukwu State Constituency, Hon. Dr. Mike Ukoha explained that they need to be informed on the preventive measures.

He urged the Town Criers to ensure that the people know the preventive measures: washing/sanitizing of hands regularly, avoid hand shake and hugging etc.

 

The lawmaker stated that the symptoms are coughing, sneezing, high temperature, difficult in breathing and headache.

 

Also speaking, the President General Ihechiowa Development Union, Chief Emeka Kalu Nmeri, specially thanked Dr. Ukoha for his untiring efforts and steadfastness.

 

The PG hinted that the lawmaker is a special gift from God, noting that his good works within the space of time are most appreciated.

 

Chief Kalu urged the Town Criers to do the needful, by informing the people in a way they will understand.

 

He expressed delight that with a collective efforts, the disease will not come into Abia State and thanked every one for attending the training.
