BREAKING: Abba Kyari, Others In Court, Takes Plea On Charges | PHOTOS/DETAILS
Suspended Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Abba Kyari has appeared before an Abuja Federal High Court over his alleged drug case.
Operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), brought Kyari to court on Monday, March 7, alongside 6 others; Assistant Commissioner of Police ACP Sunday Ubua, Assistant Superintendent of Police ASP Bawa James, Inspector Simon Agirigba, Inspector John Nuhu, Chibuinna Patrick Umeibe and Emeka Alphonsus Ezenwanne.
Kyari who is also wanted by the United State’s Federal Bureau of Intelligence (FBI) is before Justice Emeka Nwite on an eight counts charge of hard drugs trafficking, attempted bribery, etc.
Taking their plea; the 6th and 7th Defendants; Umeibe and Ezenwanne, pleaded guilty to the charge that was read to them while Abba Kyari and others pleaded not guilty to the charges against them.
