The National grid has again collapsed resulting to a nationwide blackout in Nigeria.
Various discos in a statement noted that the grid collapse occurred on Sunday, June 12, while appealing for patience from customers.
Enugu Electricity Distribution Company (EEDC) in a statement said;
NOTICE OF SYSTEM COLLAPSE
The Enugu Electricity Distribution Company PLC (EEDC) wishes to inform her esteemed customers of a system collapse which occurred at 6.49pm this evening, Sunday, 12th June, 2022.
As a result of this development, all our outgoing feeders are out and this has affected supply to our customers in Abia, Anambra, Ebonyi, Enugu, and Imo States.
We are on standby, awaiting further information on restoration of supply from the National Control Centre (NCC).

The outage you are experiencing is due to dropped HT mainline wire on Babalola feeder in Ikate zone, Surulere.
Affected Areas include Abayomi, Abiodun Wright, Adegbola, Adenike, Agbenla, Aishatu, Ajose, Akanji, Ayinde, Cole, Gasper, Muniru baruwa, Odubiyi, Olaogun, Olatilewa, Oremeji and Zamba.
