Sixty-two days after the passengers onboard the Abuja-Kaduna train were hijacked by unnamed bandits, a video of them calling for aid has been released by their abductors.
The passengers who fell to the hands of bandits in a devastating train attack that occurred on March 28, 2022, have called on the Federal government to come to their aid.
The victims while explaining their plight, stated they have been with their abductors for 62 days and some have become ill.
One of the captives, a woman who spoke made a direct appeal to Vice President and Presidential hopeful, Yemi Osinbajo whom she said was her classmate in the Nigerian Law School in the year 1978/79 set.
The grief-striven woman bemoaned the separation from her son who is a sickler.
Another female victim revealed she was stuck in the kidnappers’ den with her husband and four of their children. She went on to state two of her sons are currently sick with no medical attention given to them.
The terrorists are demanding that the Federal government release some of their children who were ‘abducted’ by government agents in Nasarawa state before they would release the train attack victims.
