ABIANS: Iweala, Onyejeocha, Igwe, Emenike, Isiguzor, Nwosu To Receive National Honours Today
A total of six Abians made it on the list of 447 persons to be conferred national honours today, October 11, 2022 by President Muhammadu Buhari in Abuja.
They include;
Dr. Mrs Ngozi Okonjo Iweala, the Director General, World Trade Organisation (WTO). She will be conferred with a national honour of Grand Commander of the Niger (GCON).

Honourable Barrister Nkeiruka Onyejeocha, the member representing Isuikwuato/Ummunneochi Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives. She is to be conferred with a national honour of Officer of the Order of the Niger (OON).
Dr Uzoma Elizabeth Emenike; Nigerian Ambassador to the United States of America. She is to be conferred with Member of the Order of the Niger (MON).
Dr Christian Odinaka Igwe, Chief Executive Officer of Mainland Oil & Gas Co. Ltd and Chairman Chrisnak Group. He is to be conferred with Officer of the Order of the Federal Republic (OFR).
His Royal Highness Sir Eze Uzo Nwosu of Umukabia Okaiuga Alike Autonomous community. He is to be conferred with Member of the Order of the Federal Republic (MFR).
Comrade Christopher Ikechukwu Isiguzor, National President of the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ). He is to be conferred with the honour of Member of the Order of the Federal Republic (MFR).
