The Young Progressives Party (YPP) has vowed that the party will win the governorship and other elective positions come 2023 election.
The newly reelected chairman, Honorable Nelcinn Uluocha stated this during the party’s state congress that held on the 28th of May 2023 at Nelcinn Schools in Umuahia North, Abia State.

While addressing party faithful’s after his reelection as Chairman YPP in Abia State, Nelcinn revealed that the party is fully prepared to face the 2023 election and to take over the state.
He assured party members and supporters not to be afraid as YPP has all it takes to confront any other political party and in any format they want.
Nelcinn thanked members of the party for finding him fit and other elected SWC members to pilot the affairs of the YPP for another four years.
Speaking during the event, YPP governorship aspirant Mr. Onyekwere Akym Uche assured members and Abians that the long-awaited turnaround of things in Abia state will come through him.
He revealed that his administration will meet the needs of the downtrodden, while making sure that every infrastructure needed in the state is provided.
Onyekwere urged party members to be committed and work hard for the party in the coming election.
