The bust raised by Pandemic Prevention Fee or Levy of Abia State University Uturu seems not to have rested as Ochiagha Reagan Ufomba has revealed that he would have resigned or quit politics if Abia State Government had not intervened in the matter.

AFNEWS had early published a press release from the University were it requested all students to pay N15,000.00 as Pandemic Prevention Fee. But Governor Okezie Ikpeazu scraped the levy after serious uproar on the social media and by parents.

…on all the students & their parents, I’ve directed the immediate scrapping of the “pandemic prevention fee” by school management. Our government will now go ahead to pay N30,000 to each Abia student in the institution as further support to them, their parents…

15k Pandemic Levy: I have spent my entire life supporting and empowering young lads in and out of school. I would have quit politics if government had not intervened. Thanks to all who made it happen.
