Poland’s first black member of parliament Dr John Abraham Godson has formally declared and picked his nomination forms to contest for the Abia Central Senatorial seat under the platform of African Democratic Congress (ADC).

Godson who hails from Umuahia South in Abia Central Senatorial zone, revealed that he decided to join the senatorial race to help correct the anomaly which is prevalent today in Abia State and Nigeria.

 

While speaking during an event today in Umuahia, the social change agent ‘John Abraham Godson’ warned that it will be wrong to allow the status quo to remain which is the reason why he joined the race.

 

“We can not allow the status quo to continue, we can not allow the same people to continue, if we don’t make a change in 2023 I think we should forget about it. That is why I need to get involved”

Godson who was born on the 25th November 1970 in Umuahia, Abia State is an entrepreneur, a social change agent who has founded 4 foundations and given out over 400 scholarships to intelligent students from poor homes. He is also the founder of 5 companies and 2 ministries all under the conglomerate -GODSON GROUP.

 

His passion has been to connect Poland and Polish entrepreneurs with Africa which he has been doing successfully through the African Institute.

 

He has authored a number of books and is a life long leaner. He was named amongst the 100 most influential Africans in 2015 by the New African Magazine. He was recently awarded the prestigious Crans Montana Gold Medalaward and the Future Leaders Award.
