The Senior Legislative Assistant to the senator representing Abia North Senatorial district, Engr Uche Okoli has said that the people of the senatorial district are wiser and intellectually sophisticated, as they will not allow people who will subdue them in perpetual incompetence represent them at the National Assembly.

Engr Okoli who made the disclosure in Abia Facts’ ‘Focal Point’, an interactive program where political and social issues are discussed, said Senator Mao Ohuabunwa has performed beyond what is normal and conventional.
In his words, “This senatorial district is that which has had several people who have put this state in the fore, setting many records. Such zone cannot afford to have people who have no business being legislators represent them.”

When asked to enumerate three constituency projects done by his principal, Engr Okoli did that and furthermore said “We are confident and our various projects which have directly affected more lives than those of our predecessors, speak for us.

The fact that Senator Ohuabunwa who happens to first of all have been a health care professional, and also the chairman senate committee on primary health care and communicable diseases has attracted several primary health care centres which have been a relief for people in dire need of medical attention.
