The senator representing Abia North, Senator Mao Ohuabunwa has kick started his free medical programme that will cover Abia North. At the moment, the programme is on going in Isuikwuato Local Government Area of Abia State.
When asked the motive behind the free medical programme, Senator Mao made it clear that his primary assignment as a senator representing Abia North is to help better life of the people and free medical programme is one the ways he is using to reach the people.
“A lot of people have one health issue or the other and sometimes they dont have funds to get treatment, so this free medical outreach will enable them get treated and bounce back strong. I should also place it on record that my number one assignment is to look out for the betterment of Abia North people and that is what i am doing very this free medical treatment” he said.
