The Minority Whip/member representing Arochukwu State Constituency, Abia House of Assembly, Hon. Dr. Onyekwere Mike Ukoha, has sympathized with the victims of the fire out break which took place on Thursday 4th March, 2021, at Amannagwu Village, Arochukwu.
The Lawmaker who was accompanied on the visit by Mazi Emmanuel Chukwunonyerem Okoro and Mazi Bassey Amaramiro, expressed sadness on the ugly development, saying that what happened was a huge loss.
He however thanked God that no life was lost in the outbreak, further explained that the ugly incident is something that remain shocking to everyone.
Hon. Ukoha, call on the three victims of the fire incident, to take heart, adding that he has written to the State Emergency Management Agency(SEMA), also he said he has called the Secretary to the State Government(SSG), the Executive Chairman Arochukwu LGA and other relevant bodies, to come to their aid.
The Minority Whip call on the relevant bodies and Umuaro at home and in the diaspora to assist the victims through his office.
He handed down the sum of N150,000 to them so as to cushion the effects of the damage.
The victims are Uche Godwin Okoro(a tire/machine parts dealer), Miss Nkeiru Nkem, who deals on clothings and Mrs Chinyere Elekwa, a restaurant owner.
