Abia State frontline Governorship aspirant, Major General Ijioma N. Ijioma Rtd has submitted his All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) governorship nomination form with pomp and pageantry yesterday 11th April 2022 at the national secretariat of the party in Abuja, Nigeria.
General Ijioma who was escorted to the APGA national secretariat in Abuja by his Coordinator “Dr. Pastra Arinze Etie” and other numerous support base was credited to have submitted a perfectly completed gubernatorial form.
While interacting with the General, he maintained that his aspiration is borne out of his interest of salvaging Abians and that he remains the only guaranteed option APGA has if they must take over Abia State government house.
General Ijioma who just came back from the United State of America few days ago, revealed that he was the last person amongst the gubernatorial aspirants to pick the nomination form, but that he is the first person that returned a perfectly filled form. He maintained that this action is indicative of how effective he will be if elected as Governor.
He went further to state that the delay for submission by all the others is also an indication of what the good people of Abia should expect in the event that they make the mistake of wrong choice.
“For if these other aspirants could not act fast on personal issues as important as the completion and return of the form which by the way is their application for the office of governor, how would you expect efficiency of them concerning state matters? Let Abia people think again for the choices before them”.
“As you can see, my supporters insisted that they must follow me today to submit the governorship form that is why you are seeing this fanfare. This clearly shows that a lot Abians are already keying into this movement aimed at liberating Abia State”
“At the moment, we have numerous supporters who are not even in APGA as a party, but their interest is to see how we can rescue Abia State and they see me as the sure bet to that destination”
“My picking of this form and submitting it today, is a show of commitment on my side that I am ready to fight for the rescue of Abia State. It shows that I am committed to change the narrative of the state positively, it is also a show that all hands must be on deck to work towards the achievement of a better Abia State”
“This is no longer the time for anyone to sit on the fence, let all Abians stand up to be counted. Support this movement, support APGA, support me and let’s move the state forward”.
While speaking on the APGA governorship primary, Ijioma has this to say;
“I am the sure bet for APGA to get to Abia State government house. I am principled, I have the blue print for Abia State development, I understand the economy, security, education and numerous angles of governance”.
“Let me inform Abia people of my simple vision of 5Rs, R1 – Rescue Abia State, R2 – Repair Abia State, R3 – Rebuild Abia State, R4 – Restore Abia State and R5 – Rebirth Abia State. Let Abians note these formulae and watch out for copy cats who may wish to copy it. You have heard this first from me and not from any other aspirant” he concluded.
