AROCHUKWU LGA: UKOHA EMBARKS ON HIS FIRST TOWN HALL MEETING WITH HIS CONSTITUENTS

As part of his promises during his campaign to his constituents, the Member Representing Arochukwu State Constituency in the Abia House of Assembly, Hon Mike Ukoha has begun his first Town Hall meeting with his constituents in a bid to understand and get a first hand information of what the people’s need are.

Speaking during a Town Hall meeting with the executives and heads of various groups in Arochukwu at Obinkita hall, Arochukwu, Hon. Ukoha explained that the reason for such gathering was to interact with them and know what their needs are, in a bid to fine tuning ways of tackling it.

He further stated that there are numerous challenges in his Constituency, pointing that those challenges must be tackled one after another so as to put smiles on the faces of the people.

Hon. Ukoha informed them that he intends to partner with Abians in the diaspora and other donor agencies for special intervention and reminded them of the need to always call him as he is accessible to them, while promising to look into the numerous needs and suggestions raised in the course of the interactive session with them.

He however, call on them to brace up for a collaborative effort with him for total provision of the basic needs of the people and advised them never to relent.

In their separate speeches during the meeting, Dr. Kanu Joseph, Madam Grace Okereke, Alex Onyekwere Odinkemere,  Mrs. Elizabeth Onwuchekwa,  Madam Helen Oji Akweke and many more, all raised a lot of challenges which they think the people and proffered ways of solving them.

They thanked God for giving them a listening man in Hon. Dr. Ukoha which they said is the first of its kind and prayed God to see him through in his services to the people of Arochukwu Constituency.
