Christ Embassy Church has thrown its weight behind one of its own, Barr. Oracle Chukwudi Nwala. Barr. Nwala, a frontline leader in the ministry, is contesting for the Isiala Ngwa North and South House of Representatives position, under the platform of the Social Democratic Party (SDP).

Christ Embassy Pastor praying for Barrister Oracle Nwala

Speaking during the service, Barr Nwala thanked Pastor Chris for the investment of his personality in Him and recalled that Pastor Chris Oyakhilome had prophesied that God will raise men from the ministry who will take the gospel to the corridors of power and mainstream the message of the ministry as the basis for policy formulation and law making. He declared that the time has come for the fulfilment of that prophecy of the Man of God, Pastor Chris.

Quoting from the scripture, the Minister in charge of Chris Embassy, Omoba, the home Church of Barr Oracle,, Pastor Rich, affirmed that “when the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice”. He declared that the time has come to elect the righteous into positions of authority. He prayed for Barr Nwala and pledged the support of the ministry to his ambition.

In the same vein, Barr. Nwala who also worshipped at Sacred Heart Catholic Church Umunkpeyi, admonished believers to investigate the background and antecedents of candidates before deciding who to cast their ballots for. He maintained that the church must not keep silent in the face of evil but must speak up regardless of whose ox is gored.
