In a beautiful expression of faith, family, and friendship, renowned businessman and philanthropist Dr. Chimaobi Desmond Anyaso joined Honorable Chief Promise Uzoma Okoro (PUO), Chairman of the Online Media Practitioners Association of Nigeria (OMPAN), Abia State chapter, for the dedication of his son, Master Divine Kelechi Uzoma, in Umuahia, the Abia State capital.
The event, which was held at Power Word Assembly, was far more than a spiritual rite — it evolved into a celebration of unity and shared values, attracting key personalities from Abia’s media, political, and religious circles.
Dr. Anyaso, who served as the Deputy Governorship Candidate of the Young Progressives Party (YPP) in the 2023 elections, worshipped alongside the Okoro family, describing the occasion as “spiritually refreshing and deeply inspiring.”
“I thank Pastor Uche Umeh for the warm reception and the spirit-filled atmosphere,” Dr. Anyaso said. “It’s always inspiring to see men of God remain steadfast despite the challenges of ministry. He is truly a soul winner.”
Following the dedication service, guests gathered at the Okoro residence, where an atmosphere of joy and gratitude filled the air. Surrounded by family, friends, media professionals, and community leaders, Dr. Anyaso reflected on the symbolic importance of child dedication, calling it “a celebration of the values that hold families and communities together.”
“Moments like this remind us of the enduring value of faith, family, and friendship,” he said. “I thank God for the gift of this child and pray that Divine Kelechi grows in wisdom, health, and grace.”
Dr. Anyaso also used the opportunity to commend Mr. Promise Uzoma Okoro for his exceptional contributions to the media space and his growing influence in civic engagement within Abia State.
“Promise is a good man — committed, articulate, and passionate about positive change,” he remarked. “He is a bridge-builder who continues to shape conversations in Abia’s digital and political landscape. I am proud to associate with him.”
In a heartfelt response, Hon. Promise Uzoma Okoro expressed deep appreciation to Dr. Anyaso for gracing the event despite his tight schedule, describing his presence as “a true mark of friendship and humility.”
