Tension Increases In Abia PDP, As Gov. Otti Sets Up Panel Of Inquiry To Recover Looted Govt Properties, Funds | SEE DOCUMENT

Information reaching ALL FACTS NEWSPAPER has it that some members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Abia State, are under tension since the information slipped into town that Governor Alex Chioma Otti OFR has setup a property and fund recovery panel of inquiry.

Since the letter appointing Honorable Justice Florence Ekwueme Duroha, as the chairman of the Judicial Panel of Inquiry on the Recovery of Government Properties and Funds became public, some eggheads within the PDP have been having nocturnal meetings as regards how to escape the hammer of the panel.

Recall that Governor Otti had advised those with government properties and funds to return them back to the state on the day he collected his certificate of return from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). The SSG few days ago had equally advised those with government properties and funds to return it as government will take necessary steps to recover them.

Based on the information available to ALL FACTS NEWSPAPER, some government primary and secondary schools in Aba were converted to private properties during the last administration. Government vehicles and other equipment’s where equally looted.

Other members of the panel are; Prof. Ogwo Ekeoma Ogwo, Prof. Ursula Ngozi Akanwa, Mazi Ugochukwu Okoroafor and Rev. Fr. Barr. Alex Okonkwo .
