Governorship candidate of APGA in Abia, Prof Gregory Ibe has promised to site a state university of medical and allied science in Obingwa.
Prof Ibe made the pledge while addressing a huge crowd of APGA faithful who gathered at Opobo junction to welcome him during his campaign tour of Obingwa.
Continuing, the APGA governorship hopeful revealed that his government will further transform Obingwa by building a flyover interchange bridge across Opobo junction to help ease flow of traffic.
Addressing the crowd, the senator representing Abia South in the national assembly, Sen. Enyinnaya Abaribe enjoined the people of Obingwa to repeat the support they accorded him on the election of 25 February by voting massively for Prof Ibe and other APGA candidates from the area during the 11th March governorship and state assembly election.
The campaign trail subsequently visited several wards in Obingwa where Prof Ibe and other APGA candidates interacted with the constituents.
