The governorship candidate of the Labour Party in Abia State Dr. Alex Otti OFR, has thrashed what he described as false alarm raised by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Abia State.
In a press release made available to ALL FACTS NEWSPAPER and signed by the Ferdinand Ekeoma spokesperson to Alex Otti Campaign Organization, he stated that the allegation that the Labour Party governorship candidate Dr. Alex Otti,OFR has concluded plans to slash the salaries of Abia Workers, sack some workers and sack over 200 Traditional Rulers are fake news.
Ekeoma maintained that Otti has not even imagined it, let alone say that he would slash workers’ salaries; and at no time did he threaten to dethrone Traditional Rulers.

ABIANS, BEWARE OF PDP’S FALSE ALARM, ALEX OTTI WOULD BRING JOY TO ABIA WORKERS, PENSIONERS AND TRADITIONAL INSTITUTIONS
The attention of the Alex Otti Campaign Council has been drawn to the fake report written and being widely circulated by the ruined and rejected PDP led government in Abia state and its agents.
In the said fake report and other similar publications using faceless elements, they alleged that the Labour Party governorship candidate and the In-coming governor of Abia state, Dr. Alex Otti,OFR has concluded plans to slash the salaries of Abia Workers, sack some workers and sack over 200 Traditional Rulers.
We wish to state categorically that at no time did Dr. Alex Otti imagine, let alone say that he would slash workers’ salaries; and at no time did he threaten to dethrone Traditional Rulers. He never did and will never do.
We therefore wish to assure Abians, especially our suffering Civil Servants and Traditional Rulers, that the reports are False, Baseless and Unfounded. It simply represents the last punch of a dying man.
Abians should be alarmed and worried why a notorious government that has brought suffering, sorrow, anguish and death upon Abia civil servants, pensioners and Traditional Rulers would suddenly become concerned about their welfare.
Their agenda and strategy is to incite Abians against Alex Otti and Labour Party, and subject Otti and his party to public dislike and opprobrium, as a way to stop his victory that’s destined to happen on Saturday 11th March, through the votes of Abians. This lazy and medieval strategy is dead on arrival, because the brains behind it are known enemies of the masses.
May we remind Abians that the rogue PDP led government and their army of jobless appointees and allies whose economic survival is dependent on Abia’s treasury have started running amok since they were roundly and thoroughly humiliated and rejected by Abians at the polls last Saturday.
They have held several meetings during which they mourned their defeat and concluded plans to unleash violence on Abians and attack electoral officers with the use of Internal and External Thugs and ensure that they produce the next governor by all means and against the wishes of Abians. This plot would fail woefully, and the plotters who are presently being identified, would be exposed and brought to justice at the appropriate time.
Ahead of the March 11th governorship election, Dr. Alex Otti and the Labour Party have been receiving highly placed Abians from different political parties who have decided to join forces with Otti and Labour Party to reclaim the state and he has received such former opponents with open arms and with enormous respect, and will continue to do so, because of his maturity of mind and understanding that, healthy disagreement is what makes politics and democracy thick.
Finally, we wish to assure Abians across sectional, religious and political divides that the Alex Otti led government would begin on a clean slate with the desire to rebuild the state and unite Abians, irrespective of previous political differences, and thus would have no time to fight imaginary political opponents, let alone our Civil Servants and Traditional Rulers who have been treated with unbelievable disrespect and disdain by the failed PDP led government.
Signed
Ferdinand Ekeoma
