Gunmen Attack INEC Headquarters, Police Kills Some In Imo | WATCH VIDEO
The headquarters of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), in Imo state, came under gunmen attack in the early hours of Monday, December 12.
Gunmen at about 3am attacked the office located along Port Harcourt road in Owerri, the capital city of the state.
According to eyewitnesses, the gunmen in over five vehicles, moved from Okigwe road shooting sporadically and scaring the residents.
They set ablaze vehicles, Election and Political Party Monitoring Liaison office, and part of the main building.
However, luck ran out on some of the gunmen as the police killed at least 3 while repelling the attack.
