ABIA: APGA Suspends Sir Chikwe Udensi |SEE REASONS

The internal battle within the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in Abia State has taken another dimension with the suspension of former APGA governorship aspirant Sir Chikwe Udensi by the faction led by Rev, Augustine Ehiemere.

Recall that ALL FACTS NEWSPAPER had reported the taking over of APGA state headquarters in Umuahia by Prince Nnanna Ukaegbu who posited that he is the authentic Chairman of the party in Abia State based on an Appeal court decision. Rev. Augustine Ehiemere has described the action of Ukaegbu as criminal and had also declared that the court paper brandished by Ukaegbu as fake. Ehiemere insist that he remains the chairman of APGA Abia State as his tenure has not expired.

In a press release made available to ALL FACTS NEWSPAPER and signed by Rev. Augustine Ehiemere and other party leaders, the six grounds for the suspension of Sir Chikwe Udensi are as follows:

  1. By sponsoring and supporting one Prince Nnanna Ukaegbu who was suspended from the party by the National Leadership of the party in 2014 against the party in Abia State, thereby bringing the party to public odium.

2. By working with some undemocratic forces in Abia State to cause crises in the party, an act which amounts to gross violation of APGA Constitution.

3. By engaging in conducts which have brought the image of the party into public radicle and disrepute contrary to Article 22 (2) (d) of the Constitution.

4. By publishing and distributing to the media false articles/materials and Statements with the intention of misinforming the public that there is a crisis in the party and or factions within the party in Abia State contrary to Article 21 (1) (g) of the Constitution.

5. Divulging the proceedings and decisions of the party without express authorization thereby misinforming and misrepresenting to the public the decisions/proceedings of the party with the aim of causing disaffection and bringing the party to public odium and ridicule.

6. Flagrant disobedience of party constitution and decisions contrary to the constitution of the party.
