Human Rights Activist and Media aide to former president Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri, has written an open letter to the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), ahead of the November, Qatar 2022 World Cup.
This is coming hours after the Super Eagles of Nigeria lost to their Tunisia counterpart in the AFCON 2022.
Most Nigerians including Omokri has attributed the Eagles loss to a video call made by President Muhammadu Buhari earlier before the match kick started.
Taking to his social media handle, Omokri advised the NFF to keep President Buhari ‘far away’ from the Super Eagles if they must play or qualify for the World Cup.
Omokri wrote;
Dear NFF,
If you want Nigeria to play in the Qatar 2022 World Cup, keep Buhari FAR AWAY from the Super Eagles. No calls. No video. No tweet. No Facebook. No encouragement. Nothing.
In fact, if you want Nigeria to even qualify, ask Buhari to call Ghana!
