Yobe state governor and Chairman, Caretaker Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Hon. Mai Mala Buni, has mourned the assassination of Ahmed Gulak.
He said the death of Gulak has created a vaccun in the development of politics and democracy in Nigeria.
In a statement signed Monday in Abuja by his director general press and media affairs, Mamman Mohammed, governor Buni prayed for the repose of the soul of the deceased.
The APC leader also prayed God to grant his family, friends and associates the fortitude to bear the loss.
The governor said: “The APC chieftain will be remembered for his contributions to the development of Nigeria’s democracy.”
