Nigerian professional footballer, John Mikel Obi, has departed England for a new club in Kuwait.
The 34-year-old player according to a report by the Brigadiers has agreed to a one-year deal with Kuwait Sporting Club.
All Facts News understands that Obi would play with Al Kuwait throughout the 2021/2022 season. The club believes the Nigerian player to be a perfect reinforcement for its club having finished third in the Premier League last season behind Al-Qadsia and leaders Al-Arabi.
He won’t be the only African player at the Al Kuwait Sports Club Stadium, as he joins Morocco’s El-Mehdi Barrahma, Tunisia duo Ahmed Akaichi and Rami Bedoui, and Mali’s Abdulwahid Sissoko in the Brigadiers’ line-up.
