2023: Banky W Wins PDP Ticket As Celebrities Throw Support | READ DETAILS
Singer Olubankole Wellington, popularly known as Banky W, has won the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) ticket for Lagos Eti-Osa Federal Constituency seat in the House of Representatives.
Banky W polled 28 votes of the 31 delegates at the primary held over the weekend.
Recall that Banky W had in 2019, contested to run under the Modern Democratic Party, (MDP), but lost to Babajide Obanikoro of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC).
Some celebrities who have congratulated him, showing support for his ambition are;
Davido, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, MI Abaga, Obi Cubana, Dj Neptune, among others.
