FINALLY REVEALED: Why Mr Ibu’s Children Were Invited By Police | READ DETAILS

Details have emerged on why Daniel, Val and Jasmine, the two sons and step daughter of Nollywood actor, John Okafor, popularly known as Mr Ibu were invited by the police.

Nollywood actress, Doris Ogala, had on Wednesday, via her Instagram handle, alleged that the trio were arrested and detained at the Force Criminal Investigation Department Annex, Alagbon, Lagos over claims that Jasmine transferred N300 million meant for the hospital bills of Ibu.

“Ibu’s wife allegedly wanted them to buy her new house from the money contributed so far for Ibu’s treatments. That’s why she arrested Jasmine. But investigation states that the money contributed isn’t even up to N300 million,” Ogala added.

Reacting, a former manger to Ibu, Mr Emeka Chocho, said the children were invited and not arrested as being speculated.

He confirmed that the invite borders on controversies surrounding Ibu’s bank account, however, one of the sons, Val is exonerated as he recently came back to the country and knows noting about the issue.

‘Yes, they were all invited by the police. I won’t call it arrest; the police invited them over Mr Ibu’s account. However, Val is left out as he knows nothing about what’s been happening. He just returned to the country.
