Why I Gave N12m Received From Aspirants To The People – PDP Delegate Speaks
One Mr. Tanko Sabo, who functioned as a delegate at the recently concluded Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential primary, has donated N12m he received from aspirants to the less privileged in Kaduna state.
According to Sabo who hails from Sanga Local Government Area of Kaduna, he had made a promise to give back monetary gain he gets from the job to the people.
He noted that he is not afraid of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), coming after him as he has justified his conscience.
Sabo said he paid WAEC and NECO examination fees for 150 orphans and less privileged with the sum of N6.9million; N100,000 as logistics to the five-man committee set up to go round the schools and pay the examination fees; N3.2 million for the purchase of 42 customized sports jerseys for the youths; N1.3 million for PDP executives in the 11 wards in his local government, N350,000 for the elderly persons
