Why Bishop Kukah Is Always Attacking Buhari – Adesina | READ DETAILS
Former media spokesperson to former president Muhammadu Buhari, has responded to the Catholic Bishop of Sokoto Diocese, Mathew Kukah’s opinion that Nigerians witnessed the highest level of corruption under Buhari’s administration.
ALL FACTS NEWSPAPER reported that Kukah while delivering a lecture in Ado Ekiti on Monday had said that though corruption didn’t start from Buhari’s administration, under his government, corruption skyrocketed.
“We have seen the worst phase of corruption in Nigeria. Femi Falana, my friend here, will speak about that because he has published a series of articles talking about what happened under the Buhari administration.
“They were not the ones who caused corruption but I think in the last administration, we saw the ugliest phase of corruption whether in moral terms, financial terms, and other terms” Bishop Kukah said.
Reacting via Twitter, Adesina stated that Kukah is pained because he wasn’t privileged to get an “under-the-cassock patronage from Buhari, unlike in the past”.
Adesina tweeted;
“Who listens to that Bishop again. He’s still pained that he got no under-the-cassock patronage from Buhari, unlike in the past. As e dey pain them, e dey sweet us.”
