FG Dismisses El-Rufai’s Allegation of ‘Anti-Tinubu Elements’ Claim’ Reveals What Buhari Is More Concern About

An earlier allegation by Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State has received a response by the Federal Government.

El-Rufai on Wednesday during a live appearance on Channels Television’s Sunrise Daily alleged that some “elements” in the Presidential Villa are working against the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

But in reaction, the Minister of Information, Lai Mohammed while addressing State House Correspondents at a brief after the Federal Executive Council (FEC) chaired by President Muhammadu Buhari restated the President’s position that his administration will ensuring a free fair and credible elections and not favour or cause anyone to be at a disadvantage.  

He further contended that if there is anyone working against any candidate, it is not officially known or verifiable.

Recall that Tinubu last Wednesday in Ogun State said the fuel scarcity and redesigned naira notes are all targeted at sabotaging the 2023 election which seemed to have indicted Buhari. READ HERE
