WATCH VIDEO: NYSC Reacts To Viral Indecent Act Of Corps Members In Camp
A viral video of Corps members at a yet to be identified orientation camp, engaging in se-xually charged dances has caught the attention of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) management.
In the video, two male and female Corps members were paired in twos, engaging in obscene conduct while other corps members who were present, watched and hailed them.
Viewers reacted negatively to the video, questioning the disciplinary responsibility of the Scheme.
The NYSC, on the other hand, has issued a statement in response to the video.
The statement titled ‘Unwholesome action by a group of corps members’ reads:
“The attention of NYSC Management has been drawn to a video currently trending on the social media showing Corps Members supposedly in NYSC Orientation camp in very compromising actions that pushed beyond the boundary of decency.”
“Management hereby restates that the Scheme is founded on discipline, patriotism and youth-reorientation and will never condone such irresponsible behaviour. Investigation is currently ongoing, and anyone found culpable will be treated in accordance with the bye-laws of the Scheme.”
