Voter Registration Deadline: Kwara Gov Declares Friday Work-free

Consequent to the voter registration deadline announced by INEC to close on July 31, next week Monday.

The Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has declared Friday, July 29, 2022, work-free for civil servants in the state to enable them to register to vote in the next general election.

This was contained in a statement signed by the governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Rafiu Ajakaye, on Thursday.

“His Excellency urges the people of Kwara State, especially the civil servants, to take full advantage of the holiday to perform their civic duty of registering to vote”, the statement said.
