In continuation of the ongoing rural Solar Street Lights Installation in Arochukwu LGA, the Minority Whip/member representing Arochukwu State Constituency, Abia House of Assembly, Hon. Dr. Mike Ukoha, has flagged off the installation of solar street lights which he attracted in collaboration with office of the Distinguished Senator Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu, in Amammiri and Achara Ihechiowa.
Speaking shortly after the flag off at the communities, Hon. Ukoha, commended Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, for providing the solar street lights to his people.
The Lawmaker, described Senator Kalu, as a man of equity for ensuring that each of the clans received 20 solar street lights, saying that this is part of the dividends of democracy.
He hinted that the massive projects from Senator Kalu, across Abia North and beyond, has shown that in his tenure, Senators can attract projects to his people, stressing that the people of Arochukwu State Constituency are solidly behind him come 2023.
Also speaking, a stakeholder in Ihechiowa, Hon. Kalu Arunsi Kalu, thanked Senator Kalu, for providing the solar street lights to the people.
He also thanked Hon. Mike Ukoha, for ensuring that the share of Arochukwu LGA is provided, through his contacts and collaborative efforts of those at the federal level.
He prayed God to bless them so as to continue with their good works for the betterment of the people.
Contributing, two Elders from Amammiri and Achara (Chief Imo Aja Njasi of Achara) Ihechiowa thanked Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, for providing the solar street lights and Hon. Ukoha, for attracting the project to them and his numerous achievements in the LGA, and prayed God to bless every one.
Speaking at Achara Ihechiowa, a youth in the area Mr. Onyekachi Kalu, lauded Senator Orji Kalu and Hon. Ukoha, for remembering Achara people in the scheme of things.
He pleaded with Senator Orji Kalu, to come to their aide, by constructing their road which is in terrible condition.
He stated that with the solar street lights being installed in Achara, it will make the movement of the people easier at night and promised to support them come 2023.
