The Kano State Governorship Election Petitions Tribunal, has sacked the state governor, Yusuf Abba, of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP).
The tribunal while ruling on Wednesday via zoom, declared Nasir Gawuna of the All Progressives Congress (APC), winner of the March 18 governorship election.
The Tribunal chairman ordered the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), to withdraw the certificate of return issued to Abba and issue a new one to Gawuna.
