Son K!lls His Father With A Pestle In Rivers | READ WHY
A man identified simply as Ikechi has allegedly k!lled his father with a pestle in Rumuaghaolu, in the Obio Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State.
According to report, Ikechi requested for a certain amount of money from his father who refused to give him on Thursday. Out of anger, he picked up a pestle and hit his father at about 2:45PM.
As he tried to flee, some neighbours caught him and he was handed over to the police.
The spokesperson for the state police command, Grace Iringe-Koko, confirmed the incident.
“Yes, I can confirm the incident. The boy has been arrested and the matter transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department. Investigation is still ongoing. If there are further developments I will let you know. For now, the boy is with us” she said.
