An American man, Lawrence Paul Anderson, 42, has been accused of a triple murder, including cutting out his neighbor’s heart to eat in Chickasha Oklahoma.
In court, Anderson was said to have “cooked the heart with potatoes to feed to his family to release the demons”.
Other charges against him include; killing of his uncle Leon Pye, 67, and four-year-old girl Kaeos Yates at his own home, and stabbing his aunt Delsie Pye, who survived but has wounds in her eyes.
Law enforcement said Anderson confessed to the murder of his neighbor when he was interviewed in hospital.
The culprit had been sentenced to a 20 year term for drug and firearms offences he committed while on parole.
He was also commuted to nine years imprisonment in 2017, but was released early in 2020.
