PUO, Bende Deputy Chairman, Dedicates Baby, Hosts Thanksgiving Of Praise | WATCH VIDEO
Honourable Chief Promise Uzoma Okoro (PUO), the deputy Chairman, Bende Local Government Area of Abia state on Sunday dedicated his daughter, Victory Chioma Uzoma at Assemblies of God church, Amaokwe, Elu Alayi.
Honourable Okoro in appreciation to God for a successful two years in office, also hosted thanksgiving of praise at his country home in Alayi, which was graced by personalities from all walks of life.
Speaking at the event, the chairman of the occasion, Chief John Okiyi Kalu, the honourable commissioner for trade and investment in Abia state, lauded PUO for considering it necessary to return thanks to God for his goodness to he and his family. The commissioner prayed that the new baby will make the Okoro’s family and Abia proud.
” What you have done is to humble yourself before God in thanksgiving. What God has planned for you will come to pass” Kalu prayed.
Dignitaries at the event include; Right Honourable Engineer Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji, the speaker, Abia state House of Assembly, represented by honourable Chijioke Chukwu, the member representing Bende north state constituency; honourable Ugochukwu Emezue, commissioner for documentation; Chief Ukwu Rocks , commissioner for basic education; Comrade Ugochukwu Nwankwo, the Young Progressive party, YPP candidate for Bende south state constituency, gospel artist Gozie Okeke, among others.
