PDP BoT Meets In Abuja Over Party’s Internal Crisis
In a bid to resolve the lingering bickering between Rivers State Governor and presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar, the highest advisory organ of the party, the Board of Trustees, is presently holding a meeting at the party’s headquarters in Abuja.
It is hinted that Wike had been infuriated over the choice of Delta State Governor, Ifeanyi Okowa as running mate to Atiku.
The meeting is holding under the chairmanship of the party’s advisory organ, Walid Jibrin.
Jibrin had announced that in today’s meeting, the panel will recommend how constituted members of a reconciliation committee will meet with the Rivers State Governor in a pacification move.
At the end of the gathering, the BOT leader would be anticipated to brief the media on the outcome of the meeting in a few hours today.
