NCC Schedules Virtual Public Inquiries On Annual Operating Levy Regulations, Frequency Spectrum Fees/Pricing

The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), has scheduled a virtual public inquiries on Annual Operating Levy Regulations and Frequency Spectrum.

The Commission there fore calls on stakeholders to make their submissions and also participate in the public inquiries.

The date for the public hearing as issued by the Commission is; Tuesday, July 20, 2021, while time is 11:00am.

 

A press release signed  by the Director, Public Affairs, NCC, Dr Ikechukwu Adinde read in part;

“PUBLIC INQUIRIES ON DRAFT REGULATIONS ON ANNUAL OPERATING LEVY AND FREQUENCY SPECTRUM (FEES AND PRICING ETC):

The Nigerian Communications Commission in exercise of its function under the Nigerian Communications Act 2003 (the Act) published the following draft regulatory instruments on its website www.ncc.gov.ng for stakeholders’ comments:

  1. Annual Operating Levy Regulations (as amended);
  2. Frequency Spectrum (fees and pricing etc Regulations (as amended).

Interested stakeholders are by this notice invited to make written submissions on the subject and participate in the Public Inquiries. Details of the virtual meeting will be forwarded to interested attendees prior to the Public Inquiries. All submissions must reach the Commission on or before Monday, July 12, 2021 and should be addressed to ; the Executive Vice Chairman Nigerian Communications Commission Plot 423 Aguiyi Ironsi Street, Maitama, Abuja”.
