Monthly Sanitation Exercise To Hold This Saturday In Abia From 7 To 10AM
The monthly environmental sanitation exercise will hold in all parts of Abia state, this Saturday, July 29 from 7am till 10am.
This was disclosed in a press release signed by Mr. Ogbonnia Okereke, the General Manager, Chief Executive Officer, Abia State Environmental Protection Agency (ASEPA).
Okereke reminded Abians that human and vehicular movement would be restricted during the exercise except for those on essential duties.
He charged all resident in Abia state to fully engage in the sanitation exercise and keep their environment clean.
The release read;
This is to inform all residents of Abia State that the monthly environmental Sanitation exercise will hold on Saturday July 29th 2023.
The exercise will hold simultaneously across the entire State within the hours of 7am – 10am.
Vehicular movement will only be restricted to those on essential services. All other forms of vehicular or human movement within this period, are not allowed.
Residents are urged to participate fully in the exercise; clean their surroundings, desilt water channels and properly bag their wastes for collection and proper disposal.
Let us join hands with the Government to achieve a clean and habitable Abia.
