Keep The Light Of God Burning In You – Mike Ukoha Charge HGLTI Students | READ DETAILS
The member representing Arochukwu state constituency at the Abia House of Assembly, Hon. Dr. Mike Ukoha, have called on students of the Hugh Goldie Lay Theological Institute (HGLTI), Arochukwu, to keep the light of God burning in them.
The Honorable member while speaking at the graduation ceremony of some of the students, noted that the HGLTI, since its inception, has produced ministers of God who are preaching the virtue of Christ.
“Since the inception of this great theological institution, it has produced wonderful ministers of God who are impacting positively the true virtues of Jesus Christ to humanity.
I thank God because through this institution, the moral lives of our children have been drastically and positively impactful.
As these set of graduands bow out today, I urge you to keep the light of God burning in you. Preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and help win souls for God” Ukoha stated.
He charged the church of Christ not to relent in partnering with the government towards building a better society, while calling on all to get their Permanent Voters Card (PVC) ahead of the 2023 general elections.
The church must not relent in its partnership with the government for a better society. We must join hands together to bring the desired change for our people.
Let me remind us that the ongoing INEC voter registration is a helpful tool to bring a desired change. For those of you who are yet to register, please rush now and do so before the deadline of June 30th. By so doing, we will together bring the desired change.
The consequences of not participating in the electoral process are many:
You have denied your self the good chance of making the right choice.
You are paving way for charlatans and illiterates to rule over you and dictate what happens.
It will make your votes not to count and your voice not to be heard.
You also deny yourself the dividend of democracy.
Therefore, we all must participate in the electioneering process by voting our choice candidate.
